“With the passion for creating outlets in the community for individuals with disabilities to capitalize on social independence, the Sutton’s dream of creating their own power wheelchair soccer team became a reality.“
Ericka “E.Monique” Sutton, Founder, President and Director of Operations for Emosah Foundation, was born with a form of Muscular Dystrophy called Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease. She has been fully dependent on the use of a power wheelchair for a little more than 25 years.
Emosah Foundation’s mission is to make a difference in the everyday lives of people of all ages and abilities through the encouragement of community involvement and social independence.
Emosah Foundation strives to provide our programs free of cost to our participants and recipients through the support of generous donors. We welcome all levels of contributions from individuals, foundations and other sources for development and operation of our programs. If you or your organization can donate funds to the Emosah Foundation, this will help us to accomplish our mission. Please remember a donation can never be too little or too big!
